Cycling
The City Council supports and develops measures and initiatives that aim to encourage cycling.
The City Council also encourages cyclists to ride on the highway and cycle routes with due care and refrain from cycling illegally on pedestrian footways. This ensures safety for everyone.
Copies of cycle maps detailing routes in Westminster are available from Transport for London (TfL).

If you think that your bicycle may have been removed by Westminster City Council, or you would like to report a bicycle that you suspect has been abandoned, then email full details including exact location, description and date to environmentalactionline@westminster.gov.uk
Cycle Stands and Locks
We encourage cyclists to use the cycle stands provided and not to leave bicycles attached to posts and railings.
London Cycle Hire Scheme
By summer 2010 6000 bicycles will be available for hire from 400 docking stations in Central London
Cyclist training courses
Westminster City Council has a range of cycle training initiatives that are offered to all schools, children, adults and families.
