The City Council also encourages cyclists to ride on the highway and cycle routes with due care and refrain from cycling illegally on pedestrian footways. This ensures safety for everyone.

If you think that your bicycle may have been removed by Westminster City Council, or you would like to report a bicycle that you suspect has been abandoned, then email full details including exact location, description and date to environmentalactionline@westminster.gov.uk
We encourage cyclists to use the cycle stands provided and not to leave bicycles attached to posts and railings.
By summer 2010 6000 bicycles will be available for hire from 400 docking stations in Central London
