Our work includes:

• Improving and maintaining Westminster’s roads, pavements, public lighting and major structures (such as bridges and pedestrian subways)
• Enhancing the street environment through excellent design of major street improvement schemes
• Designing and implementing traffic management and road safety schemes
• Monitoring works on the highway that are carried out by others, such as utilities companies
• Developing Westminster's transport strategy
• Providing road safety education and cycle training
