The WISH Directory

Welcome to the WISH Directory, a comprehensive directory containing all services available for children, young people and their families within Westminster.

You can use WISH to find out information on:

• Details of services provided, opening hours, directions and transportation. 
  
  
• Information on after-school activities from agencies offering specialist advise on abuse, bullying or drugs.
  
  
• Information on how to access a service (whether, for example, you need a referral from a GP) and whether services are charged for. 
  
  
• Westminster City Council services (including education and social services), health services. 
  
  
• Contact information on voluntary organisations (including helplines, support groups and advice services.

Please be aware that an assessment may be necessary before services can be offered and that there may a charge for some of the services listed.

Whilst every effort has been made to provide comprehensive information on the wide range of services available, the WISH Directory is not exhaustive and so not every organisation offering help and support to children and young people in the City is included.

WISH will be changing in the future and will be known as the Parent Know How Directory (PKHD).  It is part of a government initiative to improve information for parents and families and will inform the development of an extensive online national directory.  PHKD will offer parents, carers and those working with children and young people, the ability to search for information about childcare and a range of family services and activities both in their local community and nationally.
