WHAT is WELDIS?
WELDIS is a directory of USEFUL services. It is created especially for people in Westminster who may feel vulnerable yet wish to help themselves:
- Older people
- Anyone of any age with a disability or chronic illness
- Carers and service providers
- People with mental health concerns
- Anyone with substance misuse or other challenges
FINDING Help, Advice, and Information
WELDIS quickly puts people in touch with services such as Advice Centres, Support Groups, Volunteer Services, Social Services Teams, Hospitals and Health Centres, and a variety of activities. Search WELDIS here.
LOCAL and National Coverage
Most of the 1,800 organisations listed on WELDIS are LOCAL. The rest are sited nearby or national organisations like Tourism for All, Scope, the Warm Front Scheme, and Shelter's Housing Advice Line.
