What's being done

In Westminster, we have dedicated officers who take responsibility for keeping each neighbourhood clean and safe.

Neighbourhood Crime Reduction Service, brings together people who can make a difference to crime and anti-social behaviour in your local community. This includes the Westminster Wardens, Safer Neighbourhoods police, housing providers, the fire brigade, councillors, residents and businesses. We work in every neighbourhood across Westminster. Neighbourhood Watch enables neighbours to work together to detect and reduce crime on their street. To find out more, call 020 7641 1085.

Community Payback allows offenders to “pay back” the community for their crimes. The work includes gardening, painting and cleaning. To nominate a project for the Community Payback team call 020 7641 1085.
