Westminster Wardens

In order to improve our service to you, we have developed a scheme for street management and safety in Westminster. 

Westminster Warden

We have appointed a street-based member of staff for each ward, who will specifically deal with your local streets.  This dedicated 'Westminster Warden' will:

  • resolve issues for you
  • keep you informed of progress
  • work closely with council colleagues and the police Safer Neighbourhoods Team to represent your needs and the needs of the ward.

To complement and support this service, we are also appointing a named Highways Inspector for each ward.

We understand that in some wards, there are a number of complex issues which will need to be addressed, including problems around commercial, licensing and residential compliance.  To help deal with these issues, all Westminster Wardens will be able to call on a pool of skilled extra support to ensure your streets stay safe and clean.

We hope that this team of localised Westminster Wardens will ensure that you feel connected to and informed about street services in your area, while the flexible 'back-up' support will ensure that your issues and concerns can always be dealt with cost-effectively, quickly, and where possible, permanently.
