Domestic violence

Westminster operates under the Home Office definition of domestic violence (DV):

“Any incident of threatening behaviour, violence or abuse (psychological, physical, sexual, financial or emotional) between adults who are or have been intimate partners or family members, regardless of gender or sexuality.”  

From the 1st July 2011 the Indepedent Domestic Violence Advocacy Service for Westminster City Council and Royal Borough of Kenisington and Chelsea will be delivered by Advance.
