The ground floor at Westminster Reference Library has the main reference collection of law resources in Westminster libraries.

In addition to legal text books, law reports, legislation, journals and encyclopaedias, extensive collections of UK Official Publications and European Union documents are available.

Lexis Nexis

Both Marylebone Information Service and Westminster Reference Library subscribe to Lexis Nexis (also known as Halsbury's Online), an online database of Law information comprising statutes, law reports, legal forms and precedents, commentary (description of laws), and many more resources.

CANS

If you have little previous legal knowledge you may prefer using Citizen's Advice Notes (CANS) which provides legal information in plain English and can be accessed in any Westminster library and from home using a Westminster library card.
