Whether you are taking your first steps as a future entrepreneur, or already have a well-established business and are simply looking for new ideas or current information, this is the place to come!
Information is vital for successful business decisions and our knowledgeable and helpful staff are happy to point you in the right direction. We offer a wide range of business information to meet your individual needs, including: quick reference books on all aspects of economics and business, market reports and overviews (such as Mintel, Keynote, MarketLine, Snapdata), business contacts and company information, sourcing for products and services (Kompass Worldwide), business opportunity profiles (Cobra), import and export information (UK Tariff), recruitment opportunities (Executive Grapevine), international company histories, tax guides, FTSE 100 annual reports, legal information (Lexis Nexis), UK Government publications and UK and international statistics. Plus you can now search for grants and other funding opportunities via Grantfinder which we have recently subscribed to.
We take all the major daily papers plus over 50 trade and financial journals: Business Week, Harvard Business Review, Moneyfacts, Property Week, Travel Trade Gazette, Fortune, MEED, Retail Week, Leisure Management, Building Design, Marketing and Marketing Week are just a few.
Our resources and services also include photocopy and faxing facilities, free Internet access, workshops and events, and a reasonably priced expert Research Service. The library is open to everyone to use and membership is free. Our long opening hours (Mon-Fri 10am - 8pm and Sat 10am - 5pm) and many remote access online databases make us the most accessible source of business information in Central London.
