Other Chinese material

As well as the books listed in this list, Westminster Libraries have a wide range of other material both in English and in Chinese.

Books in Chinese:

Most Westminster libraries keep a selection of fiction books in Chinese. However the largest selection can be found at Charing Cross Library. Here there is a separate Chinese library collection with a large stock of fiction and information books for loan as well as specialist reference books. There is also a range of Chinese language newspapers and magazines, including magazines for loan. Children's books in Chinese are available, including some dual-language books with both English and Chinese script. There are also some Chinese classic love stories and poetry, with text in both Chinese and English.

Chinese Music:

Most Westminster libraries will have a small selection of Chinese music CDs, which can be found amongst the WORLD MUSIC selection on display. However again the largest selection will be found at Charing Cross library, in the Chinese library.

At Charing Cross library there will normally be Chinese speaking staff available to help (Monday - Friday between 9.30 am to 5.00 pm). A public Internet access facility is also available with Chinese script enabled at all Westminster libraries.
