Paddington library writers' group

The Paddington Library Writer’s Group meets:

• twice a month, on the second and fourth Tuesday of the month
• from 6.30 to 8.00pm
• at Paddington Library

The aim of this group is for budding authors or secret scribblers to read out their work to a group of fellow writers and for them to critique.

Your style or storyline may not appeal to all but helpful suggestions can only encourage. You may not agree with suggested changes but discussing your work may make you view it in another light and spark off other tangents.

Writing can be a lonely business and, hopefully, the group discussions will encourage attendees to progress further with their novels, short stories and poetry and, hopefully, start sending them out to agents.

Please bring along anything you're working on - the opening pages of your novel or any other section you choose.
