Regular events for children and young people

Regular events for children take place during term-time only, unless otherwise stated. Children can join these after school clubs with a registration form signed by a parent/guardian - please fill in one form and attend ANY after school clubs.

Saturday storytime

Every week from 2.00 - 3.00pm

there will be stories and fun for 4 to 7 year olds. Come and share brilliant books followed by crafts, games and activities.

"Share a Book" Group Every Tuesday, 3.30 to 5.00pm

We read short stories, poems, plays and novels aloud. We pause at intervals to talk about what we’ve read. No pressure to read aloud or to join in the discussion. You decide how much you participate. The group at Queen’s Park is accepting new joiners so call 020 7641 1300 and ask to be put through to Queen’s Park Library, or just turn up

Reading Group The third Monday of each month Queen's Park Library Reading group
Employment Advice Every Friday, 11.30am to 3.30pm Next Step employment advice services Sessions are held in the Open Learning Centre. Just drop in.
Seniors Online   We have Seniors Online courses offering basic computer training to the over-65s. The courses run for six weeks each. For more details, or to find out how to book a place on the course, please see the Seniors Online page
