Blooming arrangements - a taster session
Flowers

Monday 20 May, 6.00 to 7.30pm

Come and learn the basics of creating a beautiful flower table arrangement in this taster session brought to you by Westminster Adult Education Service (WAES).

Curious about the art of floristry? Meet Irfai our fabulous floristry tutor who also owns her own business.

You will learn the following skills over the two hour workshop:

  • Create a lovely table arrangement to take away
  • Learn how to choose suitable flowers and foliage
  • Learn to cut and arrange fresh flowers beautifully

Myanmar, by Judyth Gregory-Smith
Myanmar: A Memoir of Loss and Recovery

Thursday 6 June, 6.00 - 7.30pm

Travel in Myanmar is full of adventure, humour, frustration and amazement, and Judyth Gregory-Smith conveys all this in her new book, Myanmar: A Memoir of Loss and Recovery.

Judyth is a regular contributor to the Guardian and Observer.  She will be at Pimlico Library talking, reading and signing copies of her new book.

Internet Taster Sessions Every Thursday 10.00am to 12 noon       Internet taster sessions can help you handle a mouse, send that special email, or improve on the computer skills you already have. Sessions are walk in only and last an hour.
