200 years of Dickens’s social conscience
Tuesday 12 June from 6.30 to 8.30pm

Lucinda Dickens Hawksley, author, lecturer and award-winning travel writer, great-great-great granddaughter of Charles Dickens will be talking about Dickens, the man behind the books, the childhood that inspired his campaigning journalism as well as his novels, and what life was like in the Dickens family household.
