Free wi-fi in Westminster libraries

You can enjoy free wireless internet access at your local Westminster library.
You can log on from anywhere in the library on your own laptop, iPad or iPhone. There's no need to book, and you can use the internet for as long as you like, just follow the following entry instructions.
Instructions - how to get on
To use the Wifi service, look for BTOpenzone-WESTMINSTER-CC. This will take you to a Westminster/BT Welcome screen, one of the buttons says "Access Free Wi-Fi Now" click this button and away you go! You don't need any username or password. There are one or two differences for iPads and iPhones:
iPads and iPhones
- Select: Settings – Wifi - ON – choose BTopenzone WestminsterCC
- A page should then pop up* – choose connect to another provider (an orange button on the top righthand corner)
- Another page will then pop up – choose "Access Free Wifi Now" (orange button of top lefthand corner)
Join the library
Not a member yet? Joining the library is free, quick and easy - you can join online, and you don't have to live in the area to be a member. It is worth noting that although you don't have to be a member to use this service you should check out just how much you could get if you were to become one: access to a world of online resources, borrow up to 20 books, and use our computers should your laptop's battery run out!
*This page has icons for various providers, clicking the button underneath them all; “connect to BT Openzone or another provider” bypasses them and gets you to the logon page where you can look for the orange "Access Free Wifi Now" button top left.
