About Library Press Display

Library Press Display provides you with today's newspapers - not just from the UK but a large number of other countries from around the world, and in a variety of languages. 

As well as the current issues there is also a backfile of up to three months for each paper.  Unlike other online newspaper resources Library Press Display feels almost like reading an actual newspaper with pages that turn when you click the corners, the text written as it is in the paper, all the pictures included (as are all the sections of the paper) - and all this in colour too!

Best of both worlds

Although it is great that you are given the feel of reading a normal newspaper online, Library Press Display also offers many of the advantages of an online newspaper database:

• Whilst browsing is the most popular facility on this site there is a search function which looks within the text of articles from any date within the archive.
• It is possible to zoom-in to make articles easier to read
• Within many papers headlines can be clicked to display articles individually
• Articles and areas of pages can be printed and also saved/sent to others

Printing

If you want to print an article make sure you use the options available on screen and that you check exactly how your print is going to come out before proceeding. Options include getting a printable view or selecting an area of text/article that you wish to print.
