There are computers for public use available free at all our libraries, with Office software and Internet access.

Printing is available for a small charge. Book a PC now online, or call 020 7641 6200 for more information about booking a session on a computer, .

Many of our services are available online - you really can Take the library home! If you've found the new Start page on the library PCs useful, you can use it from anywhere - take a look at what it can offer.

Flatbed scanners will soon be available in all libraries (they may only currently be working in some locations) and microform scanning facilities are available at a few of our libraries.

  • E-library catalogue

    Find out what books, CDs and DVDs we have in stock. Renew items you've borrowed, and reserve others in advance.

  • Help & training

    You can come to brief Computer Taster Sessions, join a course for older people, and study all kinds of subjects (not just IT) either in learning centres or online with Learning Nexus.

  • Free wi-fi

    You can logon from anywhere in the library on your own laptop. There's no need to book, and you can use the internet for as long as you like.

  • 24/7 Library

    Can't get in to the library? Working late? Many of our services are available 24/7 - from the catalogue to training resources, reference & information to homework help and now free e-audiobooks!

  • Gateway to websites

    Loads of great links, sorted by subject - if you want to find something out, try these first!

  • In-House Specials - Information Databases

    Subscription websites and information databases on subjects such as business and law which can be accessed from within our libraries.
