A dedicated over-50s portal from the Goverment's central point for information.

From the Department for Work and Pensions (which was the DSS until 2001). Includes downloadable claim forms.
Freedom Pass
This is given out for free by your local authority in London to provide some over 60's and disabled people free travel on almost all public transport in London. Application forms are available online as is an eligability calculator.

Friendly training on computers and the Internet for the over-65s
Digital Unite
specialises in helping people over 50 use IT – from internet & email to social networking & blogs. One-to-one training can be arranged at a cost.
Disability
Disabled Living Foundation
News, information and links on all matters related to disability, with special emphasis on adaptive equipment to assist with disability.
Health
NHS Direct Online
Information on the 24 hour advice line staffed by nurses, conditions and treatment, and an A-Z of the NHS. Both this and NHS Choices includes directories of hospitals, pharmacies, doctors, dentists and other services.
