Maida Vale Library

Maida Vale Library is an attractive community library used mainly by the local residents, who enjoy the Reading Room with its periodicals & study tables.

The library also hosts book and play reading groups, and regular employment advice sessions. Find out about other facilities available in the library.

There are a large number of schools in the area and the local children enjoy the facilities offered, including regular sessions for the Under 5s, a homework club, and Chatterbooks; a children's reading group.

Stamps and greetings cards with pictures of around Maida Vale are now for sale in the library.

Refurbishment

Maida Vale was last refurbished almost eight years ago. Whilst some repairs are essential, the library will also receive a fresh coat of paint, will be refloored and see new shelves and counter area installed. Added to this, the library will have four new computers, a dedicated lap top bar for laptop users and a larger children's library area.

The refurbishment will affect the children's events, the reading group, employment advice sessions and the Safer Neighbourhood team's session in March, none of which will take place whilst the refurbishment occurs.

Please ask the library about returning any items you have borrowed or you can return items to another Westminster Library.
