Westminster Archives holds more than 57,000 prints, watercolours and photographs of Westminster, Marylebone and Paddington. Photographic prints of the images in the collection can be purchased and digital prints and files of most images in the collection can be purchased. The charges are shown below:

In addition to the cost of digital files. Low resolution images for web/online use can be e-mailed. Be aware that all images supplied are for personal use only. If you intend to use the images in a publication or other products, a reproduction fee may be charged (see below)

Reproduction Fees

In common with all other libraries, museums and art galleries, the City of Westminster Archives Centre possesses the right to authorise the photographic reproduction of prints, drawings, maps, manuscripts, paintings etc. In return for the grant of reproduction rights, the fees listed below are charge. These fees are intended as guidelines and may be subject to alteration at the discretion of the Archives Manager.

Self-service photography

If you wish to use your own digital camera in the searchroom we charge £5 per day for 20 images for personal use and £10 per day for 10 images for commercial use. You will be asked to fill in a form to declare usage. Note that this charge does not entitle you to reproduce the images and reproduction fees will still apply Should you require any of these services, please contact the Archives Centre for an application form.
