Open House Weekend on 17th - 18th September is a chance to visit some of the most amazing buildings in London FREE, many of which are usually closed to the public.

Guides cost £6.50 but you can pick one up at your local library FREE.

Choose from 700 buildings to look around including many in Westminster.

See where Jimi Hendrix lived, admire the views from Westminsetr City Hall or visit the underground Roman Baths featured in David Copperfield.

Buildings in Westminster include:

  • Marshall Street Baths, one of the UK's most iconic Victorian swimming baths which has just opened its doors this summer following a £25million redevelopment to return it to its former glory

  • The plate room in Westminster City Hall, which houses the Great Mace used in the House of Commons at the time of King Charles I

  • The Graded II listed Roman Baths on Strand Lane, which has literary associations with Charles Dickens’ novel, David Copperfield, and is open for the first time as part of the Open House weekend
