Bandstand Marathon

Part of Showtime, presented by the Mayor of London, local choirs, community groups, dance 

and music acts perform for free. Bandstand Marathon will be going on across the UK to celebrate the closing of the Olympic and Paralympic Games.

London 2012 Festival

Dance, music, theatre fashion including 189 events in or within 5 miles of Westminster. Some events are free and you have to pay for others. Keep an eye on the website or sign up for the 2012 festival newsletter to find out when tickets are released.

Pass the Flame - Connect the World Exhibition 
Artwork by local school children

Explore memorabilia from previous Olympic Games and view local artwork to celebrate the People's World Project and London 2012.

Where: 12 Cardinal Walk,  Roof Garden Level, Cardinal Place, SW1E 5HE

When: 25 July -30 August

Cost: Free

Hyde Park

Watch the action from the London 2012 Games on giant screens, plus enjoy live music acts and have a go at Olympic sports.

Where: Hyde Park and Trafalgar Square (29 August - 9 September)

When: 28 July - 11 August (Hyde Park) and 29 August - 9 September (Trafalgar Square)

Cost: Free or £3.50 for guarenteed entry.
