Out and About free tickets scheme
Out and About offers complimentary tickets to Westminster residents aged 65 or above, to attend cultural events such as concerts, exhibitions, film and theatre shows.
The scheme is made possible through the Arts and Cultural Service's brokerage with the City's leading arts organisations. It is part of the Council's Every Older Person Matters Pledge to provide opportunities for older people to improve mental and physical health by participatiing in cultural, reading and learning activities.
Previous offers have included tickets to see the English National Ballet, Turner Prize at Tate Britain, Royal College of Music, West End Comedy Theatre and Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.
How do I apply for these complimentary tickets?
The tickets are available only through the Council’s Arts and Cultural Services at 020 7641 8955 or pbaker@westminster.gov.uk Please give your name, address telephone number and email.
To take up these offers, you will need to organise your own transport and escorts.

Tales Of Hoffman Offenbach's operatic swansong is based upon the fantastical tales of the German Romantic writer. Hopelessly besotted with a flighty prima donna, the poet drunkenly recalls the three loves of his life. With Barry Banks as the lovelorn hero and American soprano Georgia Jarman singing all three of Hoffmann’s lost loves. Wednesday 8 February 6pm
The Death of Klinghoffer Adam's drama about the killing of a Jewish-American tourist during the hijacking of a Mediterranean cruise liner is more a meditation in the style of a Bach Passion, than a conventional opera. Alice Goodman’s poetic, even-handed libretto mixes Biblical and Koranic references with real and imagined accounts of what happened. Thursday 23 February 10am
