Music Day 2010 will take over Exhibition Road, London's premier cultural quarter, for a free festival of live, international music and culture on midsummer's day Sunday 20th June.

Volunteering for Music Day

Exhibition Road Cultural Group is looking for up to 200 volunteers to provide face to face support to the visiting public at this festival and to take part in this event.

Home to a flourishing cultural and educational community, Exhibition Road, in London SW7, is a vibrant area with a rich history of encouraging innovation and creativity. A unique combination of open spaces and award-winning architecture, it is an inspirational meeting point for the arts and sciences that welcomes people of all ages and backgrounds.

The Exhibition Road Cultural Group is made up of 15 national and international cultural and educational organisations, along with Westminster City Council and the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. It represents the combined institutions in the development of the Exhibition Road Scheme and in national projects. At its heart is the organisation and facilitation of joint projects; running joint events in the shared public space of Exhibition Road; and sharing staff expertise.
