Marshall Street Leisure Centre is a grade II listed building, which is currently being re-developed and enhanced to provide a stunning new iconic facility in the heart of the West End. The marble lined swimming pool has been restored to its former glory and is an exemplar of 1930s architecture.

The exciting new facility features:

Project Information

The City Council's development partner for this project is Marshall Street Regeneration Ltd. This is a consortium made up of Resolution Property plc and The Vinyl Factory Ltd, a local business in the Soho area.

Throughout the project Marshall Street Regeneration has demonstrated great expertise not only in securing the original planning consent with the support of local interest groups, but also in successfully refurbishing and redeveloping the historic listed Marshall Street Baths. In the process the developers have worked closely with the council to ensure that the Marshall Street Baths meets modern leisure centre and swimming pool specifications, whilst also preserving an historic building and such an important feature in the Soho area and community.

As well as developing the swimming pool and leisure centre on behalf of Westminster City Council the scheme also includes 37 luxury loft apartments and penthouses adjacent to the Marshall Street Baths. There will also be 15 affordable housing units available through the redevelopment; 4 of which will be provided as shared ownership and the remaining 11 as social rented  units.
