Kadeem McFarlane - winner

Kadeem, 16, has been kayaking for over five years including slalom, freestyle, whitewater, wildwater racing and sprint. He achieved one of the stand-out performances at the 2010 London Youth Games Kayak team, winning a gold medal and a division two ranking at national level. 

He is an enthusiastic member of Westminster Boating Base and always encourages others to take part and excel.

Abdul Ismani - highly commended

Abdul has been nominated for his outstanding effort and achievement in the London Youth Games Disability Swimming team where he was placed in the top three. Abdul was a valued squad member who not only competed to the best of his ability but also encouraged his team mates to achieve their best.

Song-Lian Li-Everington - highly commended

Song-Lian is an outstanding members of the London Youth Games Weightlifting team where she achieved a top four placing. Her dedication and commitment to weightlifting is always apparent.
