Valdas Dambrauskas, London Tigers - winner

Valdas is a highly qualified football coach who has inspired many young people to develop themselves into professional footballers by being a great role model and using innovative coaching methods.

He has established links with professional clubs in Sweden, Bangladesh and India where players like Terence Cariba from Edgware Road have been playing professionally.

"Valdas has inspired groups from the Lisson Green Estate to develop themselves from estate footballers to professionals."

He voluntarily spends hundreds of hours developing community sport at London Tigers and is instrumental in its growth. Valdas has increased membership of the London Tigers from 300 to 800 people from all abilities and backgrounds. He also trains new young coaches and delivers community sessions for people aged eight to 40-years-old.

Valdas has now been offered a role coaching the Lithuanian National Under 17 Football Team.

Andrew Amers Morrison, Samba Street Soccer - highly commended

Andrew works with children and young people to develop their skills and offer them the opportunity to become great. He uses his passion for the game to focus others and many of the young people he works with have since joined professional clubs including QPR U9s.

He is much more than a football coach. He teaches discipline and respect whilst giving young people a sense of community and pride.

Tony Lazare, London Pioneers - highly commended

Tony is an excellent coach who puts the children he teaches at ease. His knowledge of the game is immense and he has a great approach with those who need extra encouragement and tuition. He teaches in a down to earth way and is an excellent role model.
