Westminster City Council values the rich diversity and creative potential that men and women with differing backgounds, skills and abilities bring to the workplace.

Our Vision and Values

At the Council we focus on our employees and potential applicants as people with unique abilities and talents. It is our differences that make us individuals, we believe in the workplace these differences should be acknowledged, supported celebrated and embraced. The Council believes in a holistic to these areas and this is reflected in our approach to policies, procedures and plans.

Our Leadership

Westminster's Leader, Colin Barrow, is currently the Lead Cabinet Member on equality and diversity issues. The Council has produced a Equality Scheme which contains both Employment and Service Delivery Commitments.
