Free or discounted insulation for owner occupiers & private tenants
Up to 25 per cent of your heating could be escaping through your roof if your loft is not insulated!
For owner occupiers and private tenants grants for loft and cavity wall insulation are available through the major fuel utility companies. Insulation works are either free or discounted depending on your circumstances and where you live in Westminster, please see details below.
Free insulation
If you are in receipt of one of the means tested benefits listed below or over the age of 70 you can apply for free roof insulation.

Discounted insulation
If you do not qualify for free insulation you can still apply for loft insulation or cavity wall insulation installed at a heavily discounted price subject to a free “no obligation” survey.

Residents in Queen’s Park and Harrow Road Wards
