Decent Homes Grant

This grant is available to owner occupiers on means tested benefits who live in a home that fails the decent homes standard. The scheme will fund any measures needed to meet the decent homes standard up to a value of £5,000.

Examples of measures that can be funded are; gas central heating; repairs to existing heating systems; draught-proofing; loft insulation; hot water tank jackets; cavity wall insulation and home repairs.

Grants are awarded subject to eligibility and survey of property.
