We support residents to maintain independence and live comfortably and safely in their own homes. This includes providing assistance with repairs, improvements and adaptations in your home as well as specific grants for helping victims of burglary and domestic violence.

Residential Environmental Health can assist residents in relation to housing hazards and other matters such as pests, nuisance, public health issues, drainage problems and waste accumulation on private land. As well as responding to housing problems raised by residents we also take a proactive approach to ensure that conditions in houses in multiple occupation (HMOs) are maintained to a good standard and licensed where necessary.
