We promote safe and healthy homes for all private (non council) residents in Westminster. We can advise and in some cases take direct action where the health and safety of your living environment is threatened by housing hazards and other issues including pests, nuisance, public health issues, drainage problems and waste on private land.
We aim to improve and maintain housing standards through:
Westminster Landlords Forum - 22nd January 2014
Fire Brigade Union strike action - 1st & 4th November 2013

We are able to assess the potential risks of poor housing conditions on your health and safety, and in some cases take action to reduce or remove the risk. This only applies to non Council properties.
We support residents to maintain independence and live comfortably and safely in their own homes. This includes providing assistance with repairs, improvements and adaptations.
We deliver training courses on an introduction to the HHSRS and managing HMOs. We can also design and deliver a whole range of courses on prviate sector housing issues. Please contact us to discuss
If you have concerns regarding your housing conditions you should contact us. The details of your request will be taken and an officer will investigate.
