Westminster City Council launched its Housing Renewal Strategy in March 2010. The Strategy made a clear commitment to delivering better quality homes in prosperous neighbourhoods to create thriving mixed communities.
Residents living in Church Street ward will be invited to take part in a public vote for the renewal of their areas this spring.
The council has made a clear commitment to provide more and better homes, improve community facilities and green spaces, and create job opportunities.
The Church Street vote has been extended and will now run from Wednesday 8th until Thursday 16th May 2013. Anyone who is on the electoral register, living in the ward, and over 18 can vote.
If you haven’t received your voting pack, please call Vital Regeneration on 020 7245 2861
This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference to the quality of homes and the estates as a whole. It also provides an opportunity to address some of the needs of residents such as overcrowding, lack of affordable housing and new and improved community facilities.
These pages are designed to provide you with information about all the renewal areas throughout Westminster, the regeneration plans, and how they may affect you. Please click on the individual housing renewal estates below to be directed to their homepages.
