Adoption support

 

Westminster New Families Team offers counselling, information and training workshops to prepare you for adoption.

Help, advice and support are available to adoptive parents and their children, whenever needed. This is now a legal requirement and as an adopter you have the right to request an assessment for adoption support services. All local authorities must appoint an Adoption Support Services Advisor who can help guide you through this process.

When you are approved as an adopter by Westminster City Council, we will help identify your local adoption support services.
