Services for children, young people and families

The Children's Services Department incorporates social services for children and families, services for young people and the Schools and Learning division, together under one umbrella.  We also work in partnership with health services and the voluntary sector.

In this area you will find information on social care services for children and young people. These services aim to provide support to children, young people and their families who are in need. We are here to help and wherever possible we aim to provide services to allow children and young people to stay with their families.
