Formed in 2003, the Westminster Learning Disability Partnership provides services for people with learning disabilities and their family carers and was formed in response to the Governments White Paper 'Valuing People'.
Westminster City Council and NHS Central London and Community Healthcare work together to provide their adults learning disability services.
Your Care, Your Choice
We have been changing the way that we work to make services better to provide support so people can stay as independent as possible for as long as possible. We are doing this through Person Centred Planning.
Person Centred Planning helps people develop their own plans. It helps to identify the things you want to do and how you can achieve them.
We want people to have more choice and control over the support they need to do the things they want during the day.
Safeguarding
If you are think you are being abused, or you are worried that someone you know may be being abused, then please see our pages on Safeguarding Adults.
Whatever your interest, Westminster City Council welcomes and encourages you to get in touch with suggestions for improvements to the site. Please tell us how useful this page was to you.
