Westminster Centre For Independent Living

Westminster Centre for Independent Living (previously Princess Diana Day Centre) provides services and opportunities for disabled people ages 18 to 64 (with a physical and/or sensory impairment) living in Westminster.

WCIL is open Monday to Friday and offers:

  • Independent Living services
  • 1:1 support
  • courses (e.g. confidence building)
  • advice & information
  • social facilities
  • counselling
  • IT Training
  • Hydrotherapy pool for clients

WCIL has an Employment Service that provides support and advice for disabled people seeking work, with a full time employment adviser and training opportunities.

A BSL translation service for deaf clients is available each Friday morning and administrative support for disabled clients one morning a week by appointment.

A  café is available for people using the centre.

Other opportunities offered include:

  • yoga
  • exercises classes
  • art workshop
  • finance training
