All year round, the council works hard to keep Your Streets clean and safe - but there are lots of things that you can also do to help.
Below, we've highlighted some of the key activities we might not know the council does, and also some advice on what you can do throughout the year.

|Why not start composting. No garden? You can still use a bokashi composter and get free feed for your houseplants.|
|Have a spring clean and ake your unwanted books, toys and electricals to the mobile recycling centre, your local charity shop or give it away online.|

|Recycle on-the-go using the city's litter recycling bins for Recycle Week 2012.|
Remind businesses on the Notting Hill Carnival route inc Harrow Rd & Queensway to buy additional commercial waste bags and not to leave black bags out on the streets.
