We will provide you with a recycling container or blue bags. You can fill these with paper, cardboard, cans, plastic bottles, glass bottles and jars. We will collect them every week.
Order your recycling container, free of charge, by calling the Environmental Action Line on 020 7641 2000 or emailing recycling@westminster.gov.uk
Put all your recyclable material together into your recycling box or blue bag.
Leave it out to be collected by the council.
That’s it! Once collected your recycling is taken to a sorting facility and is made into a range of new products, from car parts to new plastic bottles.
Recycling doesn't need to stop at your doorstep. There are bins and collection points across Westminster where you can recycle batteries, books, cartons, electrical items, textiles and more.
Whatever your interest, Westminster City Council welcomes and encourages you to get in touch with suggestions for improvements to the site. Please tell us how useful this page was to you.
