Furniture reuse

Have your furniture collected for reuse
furniture logo

Furniture can't be recycled in Westminster, but there are ways you can keep it out of landfill, which helps the environment, and instead let someone else use it.

Westminster's Bulky Waste Collection service

Rather than ending up in landfill, furniture in good condition collected through the Bulky Waste Collection service in Westminster will be cherry-picked for refurbishment and reuse. Furniture in poor condition will be sent to landfill.

Give it away online

There are plenty of people on the look out for free furniture, who will collect for free - simply post an ad online and let someone else do the hard work for you.

London-wide options

The Furniture Reuse Network is an umbrella organisation for over 300 furniture and appliance re-use and recycling organisations which exist across the UK.

The following organisations include collections from within Westminster. If you live within the congestion zone you may have to arrange to transport the furniture to the organisation yourself or you can order a Bulky Waste Collection.
