Westminster's Public Toilets Service

Westminster operates 21 staffed public conveniences throughout the City. Over the last 10 years there has been significant investment in the facilities, including the complete refurbishment of a large number of sites and minor works of improvement to many others.Due to the level of investment in the sites and the quality of the contract covering their operation, the council has won a number of awards in the annual cleaning and toilet industry sponsored 'Loo of the Year' competition.

When are they open?

Most of the manned conveniences are open somewhere between 7:30 am and 11:00 pm (actual times vary between loos). There are also a growing number of Automatic Public Conveniences (APCs) which are open all the time (except when they are on their self flushing cycle!)

2 of the conveniences are open 24 hours a day:

• Leicester Square
• Covent Garden
