Water quality, river pollution and drainage

Environmental water quality is the responsibility of the the UK Environment Agency. They are responsible for enforcing the standards for all controlled waters including rivers and lakes. The analysis of drinking water is carried out by statutory authorities and enforced by the Drinking Water Inspectorate.

Water in spas and pools in Westminster are sampled on a project basis by our Health and Safety Team.
