Consultation - Air Quality Action Plan

We are inviting you to comment on the Westminster Draft Air Quality Action Plan to help shape future action to improve air quality in Westminster. This consultation will run until Friday 22nd July 2011.

We asked for your ideas about what the plan should contain during an earlier consultation. These ideas have been included within the Draft Air Quality Action Plan and we now want to hear your comments on the latest proposals.

Alongside the Draft Westminster Air Quality Action Plan a Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) has being undertaken and we are also consulting on this.

The Air Quality Action Plan (AQAP) and SEA Environmental Report can be downloaded by clicking on the links below.

They are also available for inspection at Westminster’s libraries and One Stop Services.

What happens next?

Officers will analyse the responses received and make changes to the document where necessary. The document will then be submitted to the Council’s Cabinet Member for the Built Environment for approval and other appropriate Cabinet Members, along with a summary of the consultation responses received. The final version of the document will then be submitted to Defra and the Mayor for approval in late Summer 2011.
