The Oxford, Regent and Bond Street Action Plan has been formally adopted on 12th March 2008.
The plan sets out a vision for the three retail streets and immediate surrounding areas.
We have identified a series of actions that would greatly enhance the area. We believe these high ambitions can be achieved, if we work together in partnership and combine our objectives. The Adopted ORB Action Plan is the beginning of this process.
The West End has been the UK's dominant retail and entertainment centre since the early 19th century. It continues to be a vibrant place with a distinctive retail offer and range of attractions, and is now also renowned on an international level. However, some parts of the West End have become rather run-down and dilapidated, giving the appearance that they are uncared-for and unnecessarily cluttered. Westminster City Council want to address these issues. Along with our partners we intend to relaunch this unique retail centre so that once again, for its special ambience and unrivalled retail offer, the West End is the first choice destination for all.
Whatever your interest, Westminster City Council welcomes and encourages you to get in touch with suggestions for improvements to the site. Please tell us how useful this page was to you.
