Publication Draft
Following Cabinet Member approval on the 11th November Westminster's Core Strategy Publication Draft was made available for public consultation to determine whether the document complies with legal requirements and is sound.
The publication draft has been developed following consultation on related Core Strategy Issues and Options, and Preferred Options documents, and sets out a spatial vision and strategic objectives for the City of Westminster. Once adopted it will form part of the Local Development Framework (LDF) which will eventually replace the Unitary Development Plan (UDP).
The following Statement sets out when and where printed copies of the publication draft documents, were available for inspection. They were also available electronically on this website.

We will review all representations received, and submit them to the Inspector appointed to examine the council's Core Strategy at an Examination in Public in the summer 2010, to determine whether the Core Strategy complies with legal requirements and is sound.
Government Office advice March 2009: Please note that due to matters raised by the Government Office for London (GOL), and the desire to avoid formal consultation on the Core Strategy coinciding with the summer holidays, the publication of the Publication Draft Core Strategy was delayed slightly.
