Rolling Land Supply for Housing (PPS3)
Delivering a flexible supply of land for housing: 5 year, 6-10 yr, and 11-15 yr list of housing sites
Reflecting government guidance in Planning Policy Statement 3: Housing (PPS3), the City Council has identified a list of developable sites to deliver housing over the next five years, and a further list of proposed housing sites which could be delivered in the next 6-10 years or 11-15 years.
This list is based on the GLA Housing Capacity Study (2004), unimplemented planning permissions for residential development, sites for which there is an existing planning brief, the 'Opportunity Sites' identified in Westminster's Unitary Development Plan (adopted 2007) and ‘Proposals Sites’ identified in the Core Strategy (submission draft, March 2010).
The schedule and map were updated from the version created for the Core Strategy Examination in Public in July 2010 and will next be updated in December 2011. The accompanying map shows the location of the sites.
