City Management Plan
Draft City Management Plan Public Consultation
Westminster City Council has recently consulted on the Draft City Management Plan (CMP).
We will not be taking this document forward as a separate document but instead will be inserting the policies and any necessary supporting text into our Core Strategy, which was adopted in January 2011. In doing this we will create a single Local Plan for Westminster. These changes to the Core Strategy will be called the "CMP Revision".
We will shortly be notifying our intention to revise the Core Strategy in this way and inviting you to comment on what you think the revisions should include. This is a statutory requirement, as we did for the CMP in October 2008 (see below). All of the consultation that has been carried out to date will inform the CMP Revision. Therefore, if you have already submitted a consultation response you do not need to resend it for the revision.
However, the revision will include some changes from the Consultation Draft. We will be carrying out a targeted consultation on those changes notifying only those who submitted at Consultation Draft stage, and only for a period of six weeks. If you did not submit at consultation draft stage but still want to take part in this informal consultation, please contact us immediately and we will also consult you.

CMP Policy Draft Consultation
The City Council consulted on a consultation draft city management plan between November 2011 and March 2012.
CMP Policy Options Consultation
The City Council undertook an informal public consultation on the range of approaches for the CMP at the beginning of 2011, ending in March. The policy options document is available below.
CMP Consultation Workshops
The City Council held an extensive series of public consultation workshops in the Summer of 2009, as a way to generate debate and gain input into shaping the range of policies, which would then become the CMP Policy Options Document. The minutes, briefing notes and audio recordings from the workshops are available here.
Formal notification of intention to produce CMP
In October 2008 we invited you to let us know what you would like to see in the CMP, and whether you would like to be included in the CMP workshops mentioned above.
