Welcome to Norfolk Square Gardens.

Norfolk Square Gardens provide a quiet space where residents, office workers and visitors alike can sit quietly and relax in the very busy location just yards from Paddington Mainline Station.

The garden is managed by the City of Westminster's Parks Service.

Tube

Nearest tube station is Paddington on the Bakerloo, Hammersmith and City and Circle lines.

Buses

Nearest bus routes are 7, 15, 23, 27, 36, 205 and 436 which all run along Sussex Gardens, Norfolk Place, the eastern boundary of the site, and Praed Street.

The 46 route runs to the west of the garden along Spring Place and Eastbourne Terrace.

  • The garden is laid out with formal lawns, bedding and ornamental shrubs.

  • Occasional concerts and other events.
History

The site was aquired by the City Council through compulsory purchase in the late 1980,s and opened to the public in autumn of 1990. The home of the great architect Sir Giles Gilbert Scott is located nearby and the square itself is surrounded by a number of fine buildings.
