Location
Golden Square, London W1R 3AD. Lying to the north of Piccadilly Circus formerly known as the Gelding Square.
Tube
The nearest tube station is Piccadilly Circus which is served by the Piccadilly and Bakerloo lines.
Buses
The nearest bus routes are those that serve Regent Street and Piccadilly Circus.

History
Probably laid down according to plans by Sir Christopher Wren, this west London square was brought into being from the 1670s onwards. The central statue is one of only two public statues of George II in the capital. The garden was originally known as Goldring Square.
