Zam Zam

Zam Zam water originates from a well in the Holy Mosque in Mecca, Saudi Arabia. Zam Zam water can not be exported nor sold on a commercial basis, within or outside Saudi Arabia. Recent Sampling has shown the levels of Arsenic and Nitrates exceed the permitted levels and this prevents a risk to health. Advice is that drinking small amounts is likely to cause minimal risk, but Zam Zam water bought from outlets in the UK should no longer be purchased or consumed.
